The first Online Texas holdem poker hands statistics generator !

The purpose of this site is to share with you my little knowledge of poker.

II've been playing for 6 years texas Hold'em nearly everyday, and i wanted to help newcomers.

The main interest of this site resides in the statistics generator, that will help you to learn the big difference there is between statistics and probability.

Most of the good poker players will tell you, and they are right, that playing poker is a long term thing, and that so, you need to use probability to know witch hand you have to play. I agree, of course, and during a poker tournament, never will I play an 8 and 3 not sorted. Even sorted by the way. But, you have to be aware that some hands doesn't deserve their reputation, and in particular AK when bot sorted, is not such a big hand. The second point of this generator is to show you that anything can happen during a tournament. My private experience shown me something I never read nowhere: Is not by playing only your good hands that you will win a tournament. You need to play carrefully, but with a bit of crazyness sometimes. Usually, i will try to be carefull the first hands to take the temperature of the table, but as long as I saw who I have in front, I will adapt my playing, and maybe try some middle class hands, mostly sorted ones, that can damage much more than a AG or KQ.

When you hit on the flop a 78, no one can see it, and you rare in good position to take the allin of your opponents.

Then, here is my point about strategy: It does not exist.

Before to kick me, let me explain my point:If a all time winning strategy, appliable to any table exist, one player finnally would find it. He would then apply it, and therefore, win all the time. And so, his oopônnents would observe him, and copy this strategy, making the strategy not winning anymore because averybody has the same. So not global strategy to my point, but, everyone has his own more winning strategy. Looking a some professional players show it. They each have different ways to play, and some of them can accumulate the good or very good WSOP results, witch is not random, or luck, of course.

So try to find yours. Mine would be to be a tight very aggressive players, that plays randomly about one hand on seven. Then, I will also play a lot on conditional statistics, meaning, that i count the cards (not precisely). I just try to remember, how many time didn't we see a Jack at the flop ? 4 turns, and now I have J and 7 as button, this could make me try a bluff on my J7 that normally i throw easily, just because, there is a little more chances to hit a jack. this is strictly personal, my goal here is just to explain that I made my own way of playing, and when I respect it, usually, I can win.
